FLTR Paper is back
It has been a while since you last heard from me here. The silence was not for lack of things to say, but because my own path with coffee was shifting in a way I did not want to rush through.
During this hiatus, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I left the corporate world behind and stepped fully into specialty coffee. What was once a passion on the side became my work when I took on the role of Chief Brand Officer at Brewing Gadgets.
A big move for me. Because coffee is no longer something I only study, write about, or brew at home. It is now my everyday environment, my professional focus, and my livelihood.
That transition has given me a deeper understanding of coffee. Not just the taste and technique, but the industry, the people, and the constant tensions between accessibility, expertise, and identity. Living it from the inside has shifted how I see things, and I believe it will make what I write here more informed, more grounded, and more useful to you.
So what comes next? FLTR Paper is back in action. You can expect the same clarity and curiosity as before, but with new depth. I will write about where specialty coffee is heading, the psychology behind how we consume and value it, and what all of this means for those who drink it, sell it, or build around it. I’ll share what I am seeing firsthand and what I think matters most, without wasted words.
This is a space I want to build with you. If there are topics you want me to cover, questions you want answered, or parts of coffee culture you wish someone would dig into, tell me. And if at any point this no longer feels relevant to you, please unsubscribe.
I’m glad to be writing here again. Thank you for staying.
